Graduation Ceremony Highlighted by City Counsel Speaker Adrienne Adams!

City Counsel Speaker Adrienne Adams returned to the auditorium of P.S. 161 to deliver the keynote address to the graduating class of 2025. In addition, wonderful speeches were given by the class Valedictorian Tyler Sukhnandan and co-Salutatorians Sarveen Kaur and Angelina Baul.

Principal Hoder also created a memorable moment when she presented the annual James Bittner Scholarship Award to Nate Mahipath. This award is given in memory of James Bittner; a loving, devoted, caring and innovative person who left us too soon.

The graduating class performed two songs, "We Are Alll in this Together" and "I Lived" to the delight of their family and friends attending the ceremony. The ceremony concluded with a wonderful video montage of the classes activities this school year.
